Clinician Onboarding

Clinician onboarding — become facility-ready Get verified as an independent 1099 healthcare professional and be ready to apply once opportunities are available.

Memberships

Clinician access to active opportunities and certain platform features is available through paid

memberships. You can start getting facility-ready now — pricing is not listed on this page.

Step 1 — Choose your independent setup path (resources only)

Angled provides workflow support, not legal or tax advice. Many clinicians use third-party services

for setup (examples: LegalZoom or Rocket Lawyer) and resources such as www.Healthhybrid.com.

• Sole Proprietor (common starting option)

• DBA (if operating under a business name)

• LLC (liability and business structure option)

• S-Corp election (may be relevant for some; consult a professional)

Step 2 — Build your facility-ready document set

Upload and maintain current versions of your documents. Requirements can vary by facility and role.

• Resume (current) and specialty-specific skills checklist

• Active license(s) and any compact privileges (if applicable)

• Certifications: BLS (plus ACLS/PALS/NRP/etc. as required by specialty)

• Professional liability insurance (COI) in your name/business name

• Government ID

• Health records as required by facilities (immunizations, TB, fit test, etc.)

• Bank account information for payouts (when active)

Step 3 — Verification and profile readiness

16. Complete your profile details (specialty, experience, availability, preferred shifts).

17. Upload required documents to the document vault.

18. Angled reviews for completeness so you can move quickly when opportunities open.

Step 4 — Working and getting paid (workflow summary)

• Apply to opportunities and message facilities directly through the platform.

• Submit timesheets after each work week (or per facility policy).

• Facility approves time; approved time generates an invoice.

• Payout follows the platform payout schedule after approval.

• Optional Accelerated Pay may be available for eligible Urgent Shifts (cutoff-time dependent and

requires facility approval).

• Angled is not a bank or lender and does not provide loans or credit.

1099 e-filing and general tax reminders (not advice)

Angled supports 1099 workflow administration. Clinicians are responsible for their own tax

compliance. Many independent contractors set reminders for quarterly estimated tax payments

and consult a professional for individualized guidance.

Angled is a technology and workflow platform—not a staffing agency. We connect facilities with verified independent 1099 clinicians (license + COI + required documents). Facilities retain clinical oversight and patient-care decision-making.
