Patient Support & Community Impact

A portion of Angled Inc subscription revenue may be contributed to Heartful Help, a 501(c)(3) public charity, to support patients and families experiencing financial hardship. Hospitals can submit patient referrals for consideration. Contributions and referrals are not conditioned on purchasing decisions, volume, or federally reimbursed business.

Purpose

Angled’s community benefit approach is designed to support patients who encounter financial barriers to care (including gaps outside standard coverage and services not readily available in a patient’s local market). This program is administered through an independent charitable organization.

Charitable Partner

Heartful Help is an IRS-recognized public charity under Section 501(c)(3). Heartful Help’s mission includes providing support to individuals and communities experiencing economic hardship and other urgent needs.

Governance & Independence

  1. Heartful Help independently evaluates referrals and determines eligibility and assistance amounts.
  2. Referral submission does not guarantee assistance.
  3. Angled does not control individual determinations or distributions.

Referral Process (Hospitals)

Hospitals may submit a patient referral for consideration by emailing info@heartfulhelp.com with:

  1. Patient name and preferred contact information
  2. General description of need (avoid unnecessary sensitive details)
  3. Hospital contact name, role, and callback number

Heartful Help contacts the patient (or designated contact) directly to complete its intake process.

Funding & Recognition Options

Angled may contribute a portion of subscription revenue to Heartful Help. Donors may select a recognition preference:

  1. Anonymous, or
  2. Recognized (name listed, if the donor chooses)

For direct giving, donors may contribute via Heartful Help’s donation page.

Transparency

Where available, Heartful Help may provide periodic impact updates and reporting consistent with its charitable administration and reporting practices.
