FAQ

Compliance & Disclosures Angled does not provide medical, legal, or tax advice. Clinicians are independent 1099 professionals and must carry their own professional liability insurance (COI). Heartful Help independently determines eligibility and distributions, and referrals do not guarantee assistance.

For Clinicians (1099 Independent Professionals)

1) What is Angled?

Angled is a platform for verified independent 1099 licensed healthcare professionals to find per diem and contract opportunities, communicate directly with facilities, and manage verification, timesheets, invoicing, and payouts in one place.

2) Who can join Angled?

Angled is for licensed healthcare professionals working as independent 1099 contractors (sole proprietor/DBA/LLC as applicable). You must maintain active licensure and required credentials.

3) Do you hire clinicians as W-2 employees?

No. Angled is built for independent 1099 clinicians only.

4) What documents do I need to upload?

Common requirements include: resume, active license(s), BLS/ACLS (as applicable), skills checklist (by specialty), professional liability insurance (COI), immunization/health records as required by the facility, government ID (if required for verification), and bank account information for payouts.

5) Do I need professional liability insurance?

Yes. All clinicians must carry their own professional liability insurance and upload proof (COI) as part of verification.

6) How much does membership cost?

All clinician memberships are $49/month.

• Independent Launch includes a $249 one-time setup fee.

• Independent Concierge includes a $499 one-time setup fee.

7) Is there an admin fee?

Yes. A 4% platform admin fee applies to each approved invoice submitted through the platform.

8) What is Accelerated Pay?

Accelerated Pay is an optional add-on for $25/month that provides next-business-day pay eligibility on eligible Urgent Shifts, if the shift is completed and the facility approves the timesheet by the published cutoff time. Next-day pay depends on cutoff time.

9) When do I get paid?

Payout timing depends on timesheet submission and facility approval. Approved time is paid on the platform’s payout schedule.

10) How do timesheets and invoices work?

You submit a timesheet for completed work. Once the facility approves it, invoicing is processed through the platform and status can be tracked.

11) Can I message the hospital directly?

Yes. Angled includes direct messaging between clinicians and facilities for role details, scheduling, and assignment communication.

12) Can I cancel anytime?

You may cancel only if you are not currently working a shift and/or not in an active contract/assignment on the platform. If you are in an active assignment, cancellation takes effect at the end of the assignment or contract term.

13) Does Angled provide legal or tax advice?

No. Angled provides workflow tools and onboarding support but does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or compliance advice.

14) Will Angled file my taxes?

Angled supports 1099 processing and access but does not provide personal tax advice. Consult your tax professional for filings and strategy.

Facilities can message clinicians directly through Angled’s messaging platform—before, during, and after assignments.

8) Who sets the clinician pay rate?

Rates are negotiated between the facility and clinician based on role, experience, market, and shift needs.

9) How do timesheets and approvals work?

Clinicians submit timesheets. Facility managers review and approve. Approved time drives invoicing and payment tracking.

Angled supports verification workflows and a document vault so facilities can review required documentation. Final credentialing and clinical decisions remain the facility’s responsibility.

No. Angled provides tools and distribution support but does not guarantee outcomes, fill rates, or time-to-fill.

13) Is charity support tied to referrals or business volume?

No. Heartful Help operates independently. Referrals are reviewed independently, and assistance is not guaranteed.

14) How do hospitals get support?

Facilities can contact support at support@angledinc.com. Some plans may include priority support depending on your subscription.

Angled is a technology and workflow platform—not a staffing agency. We connect facilities with verified independent 1099 clinicians (license + COI + required documents). Facilities retain clinical oversight and patient-care decision-making.
